Soundgarden Playing Intimate Show in Chicago Prior to Lollapalooza

Fans of Soundgarden are looking forward to the band's return when they take the stage at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago on August 8th, but you might also get the chance to see Chris Cornell and company in action before Lolla even starts.  The band has announced that they're playing an intimate show on Thursday, August 5th at Chicago's Vic Theater.  But getting tickets to the show won't be that simple.

First, you need to register at SoundgardenWorld.com and check the appropriate box to be entered into a contest for tickets.  That prize is just for your chance to purchase tickets, not to get them for free.  The contest ends at midnight CST on July 29th and winners will be announced July 30th.
